Central African Republic Domain Extension: .cf
The Central African Republic is a landlocked country located in the central part of Africa. The border neighbors of the Central African Republic are Chad, Sudan, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Congo and Cameroon. At first it was a French colony. The country gained its independence in 1960.
A large part of the country's population is engaged in agriculture. The country's economy is based on imports. Although there have been democratically elected leaders in recent years, it has not allowed the basic economic problems to be solved. The French government had to intervene in its former colony. Despite the potential to utilize precious mineral reserves to boost and improve the economy, the country is close to the bottom of the global poverty indices.
